Frequently asked questions
Do I need a specific problem or disorder to work with you?
No, you do not need a specific clinical diagnosis or a named “disorder” to begin therapy with me. While I am experienced in working with people who have been given psychiatric labels—such as anxiety, depression, or PTSD—my approach focuses on you as a whole person rather than a set of symptoms.
Many of my clients come to me because they feel a general sense of being “stuck”, a loss of meaning, or are navigating experiences of otherness. You don’t need a clear story or a defined goal to start. Whether you have a specific crisis or just a heavy feeling you can’t quite name, we can work together to find the words for your unique experience at your own pace.
Do you have a speciality?
While I work with a wide range of human experiences, I have a specific clinical interest in creativity, themes of identity and belonging, and the sense of “otherness”.
This often involves supporting people who feel they don’t quite “fit” in their current environments, or are navigating bereavement, loss and other major life transitions that challenge their sense of who they are.
Do you work with couples or groups?
No, my practice is dedicated exclusively to one-to-one work with individual adults (18+).
